jmtaber is on a distinguished road
Default

I have a web (www.jmtaber.com) with several subwebs. As of this morning, I was able to upload to all 5 subwebs (www.jmtaber.com/maria; www.jmtaber.com/kenny, etc). I then converted another folder to subweb (www.jmtaber.com/taber), but for some reason, it would re-prompt me for my Frontpage log-in credentials and then would not accept. I tried multiple times by successfully uploading the other subwebs, but then not being able to upload the new sub web.

In desperation, I removed Frontpage extensions and readded, but to no avail.

Now, the problem has gotten worse - I now can not upload anything. The error I get now, after entering correct login credentials is: Server Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file "frontpg.lck". Please check the file permissions.

I have, again, uninstalled and reinstalled Frontpage Server Extensions through Helm. Even clicked the "Check" option a few times, but to no avail.

Where do I go from here?

Ya,

I can say FrontPage WebExtension has many issues with HELM syncronization and it is getting currepted. I have found this error many time. Sometime I could overcome this error usign checking and repairing FrontPage from the server but sometimes no luck.

Recently, I have found that Microsoft has closed it support for FrontPage Extension as it has many bugs in sice March 2006
