I have created a forums on my website, and I need to have linked tables that can use primary and foreign keys. I think its redundant to have my users log in twice to access the forums as long as there cookie is active. I dont want to transfer there user name and password via cookie either. What hosting product do I need for yall to enable the linked tables?

Thanks
Robert

Hello Robert:

Are you using windows or linux to host your site?

There is no need of installing additional software to support linking of tables via primary/foreign key constraints. Depending on the database which you are using, you can simply create those constraints via the interface through which you access your database. If you can provide me with your domain name, I will be able to guide you further.

In addition, if your forum does not have any special features that you utilize then I would recommend that you use the 'PhpBB2' forum. It is a versatile software and has many advantages.

Regards,
