Hi,

I already asked this in the past, but now Microsoft has announced that Dotnet v2.0 will be release without any (more) delay in November.

I'm starting to develop a new ASP.NET applicatie and I was wondering whether I would it in ASP.NET 2.0 or the older 1.1 ?

Hence my question: will Accuwebhosting support ASP.NET 2.0 anytime soon after 2.0 has been released ? Or will you have at least one server running v2.0 in November (after the official release) so my website/application can be hosting on v2.0 ?

Hi Wim,

We install the stable versions only on our server. Hence, once the ASP.NET 2.0 is declared as a stable version, we will surely update it to 2.0.

Hi Wim,

After the stable version release notice of ASP.NET 2.0 we will implement that on selected servers in 2-3 weeks. Once it is configured and running properly on selected server, we will deploy that on all the servers in 2 weeks.

Regarding the question from Elizabeth, we will update your full server to ASP.NET version 2.0 and will update you by email accordingly.
